What Slowdown? Israeli Real Estate Prices Haven't Dropped Since December 2008

Despite conflicting data from a number of different Israeli reporting agencies and news outlets, the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics released their findings today, reporting a continued rise in the prices of real estate throughout Israel. August saw the largest rise since April 2011, up 0.8% from July 2011 and 7.% from January 2011. While we have seen a slower rise than from the corresponding period in 2010 (10%).
